We need to talk. It’s time to figure out what to do now. The past weeks have made us reflect on our purpose and how important it has been to gather ideas that we can put into action. Designers are responsible for a lot of our future outcomes.

We were fortunate enough to have been in the same room of like-minded and like-hearted people who are leaders in environmental planning and community work, Ronnie of Balika Rammed Earth and Paulo Alcazaren.

We were also inspired by leaders in sustainable fashion Steffi Cua of Idyllic Summers talked about the 2 Ps—People and Planet, and Len Cabili of Filip+Inna talked about Soft Power, a use of power that is not by force but the quiet and steady strength that our culture provides such as the culture of kapwa and spirit of bayanihan that Sudar Khadka helps build through his practice.

Beyond these conversations, we continue to move, we continue journey through important questions that need to be asked and urgently answered.
